Medieval Festival

July 23 is the Medieval Festival in Fergus. People from various churches are joining together to be monks at the Festival. The plan is to 3 or 4 times during the day be on the main stage and do one of the Medieval Hours (brief worship) which marked the life of monks at the time. This part will involve learning some simple Gregorian Chant. The rest of the time will be wandering around as monks and engaging in conversation. The church will provide Monk costumes and other supports. (Women and men are equally welcome to be monks.)

If you are interested or have questions – please speak to Peter.
